Bali Art Center

Art Centre which called "Taman Werdhi Budaya" is located in Nusa Dua Indah street, Denpasar. It is one of the most wide and Comprehensive place for art performance in Bali. Every years in this palce was held big event which called "Pesta Kesenian Bali" (Bali's Art Festival) which showing many art shows with hundreds of artists.

This place was designed by Ida Bagus Tugur a famoust architect in Bali. His concept are combined between pura and kingdom palace in Bali. painting and sculpture of Bali's artists are displayed in exhibition hall. We can see the exhibition every day from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm.

This art centre has four main area:
1. Holy area, it consist Beji Park Temple, Bale Selonding, Bale Pepaosan, etc.
2. Calm area consist of Widya Kusuma Library.
3. Half Crowded area consist of Mahudara Mandhara Giri Buwana Exhibiton building, Kriya building, Sculptures studio, "Wisma Seni", and Wantilan.
4. Crowded area consist of Ardha Candra outdoor stage and Ksirarnawa indoor stage.

The cost to enter this museum is six thousand rupiahs. This culture park can be reached easily. Beside using private vehicles and taxi, we can use the public transportation. From Kuta you can ride public transportation for five thousand rupiahs from Tegal Denpasar bus station. From this vehicle you must switch vehicle to the Batu Bulan bus station for five thousand rupiahs. Then get off in the Nusa Indah street. From there you must walk for about 700 metres. But of course, using a rent car is more easily.

One more thing, because most of Bali's people has few vehicles in their family, public transportation in Bali is a little expensive. So it's better to rent a car or a motorcycle than using public transportation,except you are willing to experience adventure.
