We will now prepare the switches for installYou will now need to cut 2 lengths of 20 gauge wire, or what ever wire you usually use for this type ofwork.( You will only need one length if you are only installing one switch )This assumes there will be 2 switches installed – 1 to turn the modchip on and off, and one to enablethe bios to be written to )They will need to be approx the length the front of the xbox and the side of the xbox together.Approx 45 – 50cm ( Rough Guess as I don’t have one to hand )You will need to tin the ends of the wire to make attaching to the switch connectors easierFor general soldering techniques, and how to tin wires etc etc, please see the following guide :-http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/soldering2.phpOnce you have tinned the wire you will need to attach each of the points to the connectors on theswitches. There are 2 points on the switch that you will need to solder to as per the picture belowOnce you have soldered the wire to the switch you will have something that looks like the picturebelow ( hopefully ) ☺

Attaching the switches to the Front PanelOnce you have prepared you switches, you will need the Front Panel again. You will be installing the switches into the vents at the bottom of the front panel as shown belowThe best place to locate the switches is the 3 rd hole in on the vent on either side as shownNow in these vent holes insert your switches as shown in the next diagram below. Using the suppliedswitch aligner and nut, securely attached the switches to either side of the Front Panel.

Now the switches are in place, secure the wires to the Front panel as per diagram below, usingelectrical tape ( or any other reliable tape )Once you have attached the switches and secured the wires to the panel you will now need to feed thewire into the xbox so that it can now be attached to the installed Mod Chip ( in this case the Xecuter 2Lite )Feed the wires into the box via the front of the xbox unit. On the left hand side by the 1 st controller portyou will see 2 holes. Insert the wire through the hole closest to the 1 st port as per the picture below.Once the wires have been pulled through into the XBOX, you can now re-attach the front panel to theXBOX

You Chip back in the XBOX will look slightly different depending on weather you have a Version 1.0XBOX or a version 1.1 XBOXBoth pics are shown beloeVERSION 1.1 XBOX ( Sat nicely in place on Pin Headers )VERSION 1.0 XBOX ( taped to said on top left )
