Billie Joe Armstrong • 17. 02. 1972, Rodeo ( California) • Band “Sweet Children”, nato Green Day • Dan pred 18. roj.dnevom, so ga vrgli iz srednje šole, zaradi prevelikega posvečanja glasbi • Kitara, glavni vokali • Igral je že pri: Rancid, the Lookouts,Corrupted Morals, Goodbye Harry,Blatz • Poleg kitare igra tudi: Orglice, mandolin, bobne in klavir

Mike Dirnt • 04.05.1972 • Michael Ryan Pritchard (Dirnt) • Je igral tudi pri: The Frustrators, Screeching Weasel, Crummy Musicians, Squirtgun. • Rojen od heroina zasvojene mame zato je bil posvojen. Njegovi novi starši ločili, ko je bil star 7 let. • V petem razredu je spoznal Billija Joe-a, pri 15. je najel sobo v njegovi hiši.   • Poleg bassa igra tudi: Sintisajzer, kitaro, bobne.

Tre Cool • Frank Edwin Wright III • 09.10.1972 • Igral je pri: The Lookouts, Samiam • Zrasel v Willits-u (Kalifornija), z očetom. • Pri 12-tih pridružil skupini Lookouts. • Kmalu po tem je Al Sobrante (bobnar) zapustil Green Day, Tre dobil mesto v skupini. • Poleg bobnov igra še: Sintisajzer, kitaro
