On December 27, popular actor Lee Sun Kyun was found dead in his car. His agency confirmed the news in a statement. The acclaimed 48-year-old actor leaves behind his wife and two children.

Lee Sun Kyun was best known for his roles in the award-winning film Parasite and K-Dramas My Mister and Coffee Prince.

In the 2007 K-Drama Coffee Prince, Lee Sun Kyun portrayed the second male lead, record producer Choi Han Sung, who was the cousin and best friend of the male lead, Choi Han Gyeol, portrayed by Gong Yoo.

Gong Yoo’s Instagram account reflects his mourning for his late co-star. He recently shared a black image with the 2006 song “Limitation” by Nell.

Gong Yoo is an active Instagram user, often sharing posts from all aspects of his life, including acting, cooking, fishing, etc. Since Lee Sun Kyun’s death, Gong Yoo has removed all his Instagram posts except for two, including the one in honor of Lee Sun Kyun.

Gong Yoo also attended Lee Sun Kyun’s funeral service on December 28.
