The children of rock and sports icons have married.
Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, wed the son of skateboarder Tony Hawk, Riley Hawk, TMZ was first to report.
The couple got married Oct. 7 in a private ceremony in Los Angeles, with R.E.M. lead Michael Stipe reportedly officiating the wedding.
Stipe is Frances Bean Cobain’s godfather.
Despite reports of their marriage, neither Frances Bean Cobain nor Riley Hawk have made a statement on the marriage, Entertainment Tonight reported.
The couple’s relationship was known in early 2021, but the first official word that they were together came in February 2022, when Frances Bean Cobain made it Instagram official after a year-long Instagram hiatus.
This is the first marriage for Riley Hawk and the second for Frances Bean Cobain, who was married to Isaiah Silva from 2014 to 2017, Entertainment Tonight reported.
