Tyler, the Creator takes his headwear very seriously. From bucket hats and berets to furry trapper hats and colorful beanies, the always-stylish star has worn 'em all. But for the better part of the past year, Tyler has been wearing one cap in particular: a stylish and retro-looking baseball cap. He's worn it running around at Paris Fashion Week, strolling the streets in New York City, accepting awards in Beverly Hills, and performing in front of thousands. And now, you can finally get your hands on one to wear, too.
The hat is part of Golf le Fleur's latest collection, Tyler's dreamy, funky menswear label. The wool cap features a hand-sewn patch and a stylish short brim inspired by baseball caps from 1914. (It's available in green, brown, black, and white.) To produce the hat, Tyler teamed up with Ebbets Field Flannels, the manufacturer that has been making high-quality, vintage-inspired wares since 1988. The cap sits alongside a Golf le Fleur collection that includes chain-stitched button-up shirts, leather work jackets, mohair sweater vests, and plenty more high-wattage threads. You'll recognize quite a few pieces from some of Tyler's outfits over the past year, but the cap looks like his clear favorite.
There is perhaps no better person to show off how versatile a timeless and unfussy hat like this one can be than Tyler. His opulent wardrobe of prep-inclined staples and streetwear-inspired colors provides the perfect backdrop. We've seen him pair it with a cardigan and a silk scarf one day and then with a patterned sweater and jeans on another.
