A colorful iguana rests in his jungle habitat. That beautiful opalescent disc on his lower left is called the Subtympanic Shield. Apparently it serves no practical purpose except perhaps to confuse predators into thinking it's another eye. But I suspect it's a way to attract lady iguanas. Who could resist such a gem?
My matted giclée prints are individually produced in my studio, using archival pigments on heavyweight presentation paper. The slightly textured, off-white 8 x 10-inch mats are hand signed and titled by me, the artist. The 11 x 14-inch double mat prints (see photo) have my signature and title on the print itself. Each print comes in a protective clear acrylic envelope, with an information sheet about the wildlife species depicted in the image. (Please note: Watermark on images shown here is for copyright protection only, and does not appear on the actual print.)
My 'Virgin Visions' series is inspired by the diversity of nature found on the tropical islands of the Caribbean. Most species represented are indigenous to those islands, many threatened or endangered. A portion of my profits is donated to wildlife conservation to help protect these exotic fauna and flora for future generations to enjoy.
My images can be seen worldwide on posters, puzzles, tile murals, fabrics, and other media. You can also find them in Caribbean Travel & Life and Sport Diver magazine, where they are used in public service ads to promote reef conservation awareness.
Please message me if you are interested in purchasing LARGER SIZED giclée prints (up to 24 x 30 inches) on paper or canvas.
