Extremely rare statue in this size. Sculpture titled "LUZMAN" is cold-painted on bronze by artist Victor Gutierrez. This Latin-American bronze statue measures an impressive 30 1/2" H, 21" L and 15" D. Artistically produced in a very limited run only 12 made and this piece is numbered 2. This piece features the date of production stamped 19(88) and artist signed on bottom back of piece in bronze. The under side has a mounting bracket to secure for outside or garden display.

Victor Gutierrez was born in 1950. Gutierrez is a licensed architect from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, and studied various art techniques both at La Esmeralda and the Academia de San Carlos. He sculpts mainly in bronze, marble and stone, while also being an accomplished painter and draughtsman. His productions includes several monuments in Mexico and abroad, including Our Lady of the Angels in Dublin, Ireland. His work has been in more than a hundred exhibitions in Ireland, France, the Netherlands, China, Puerto Rico, Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico and the US.

I didn't have chance to see it yet because was a gift to my daughter, but she loves it! The initial lithography I chose couldn't be found by the vendor, but he quickly informed me and fortunately he had a very similar one from the same artist.
