About this product

Product Information

Return to Mysterious Island is a graphic adventure based on the Jules Verne novel from which its title is taken. In the role of a modern-day a sailor named Mina who sets out to circumnavigate the globe alone, players find themselves shipwrecked on the mysterious island described in Verne's book. Mina discovers the remnants of a civilization on the island, and eventually takes up residence in the same "Granite House" the five unfortunate dirigible passengers discovered almost 150 years earlier. Mina also comes to find that she is not alone on the island. Her "mysterious stranger" is no self-exiled castaway, however, but the ghost of Captain Nemo himself. She'll need to explore the island, solve its puzzles, and uncover all its mysteries, to help the poor soul of Nemo find the eternal peace it so desperately seeks.

    Return to Mysterious Island - PC Game

    I first saw this game at BigFish. After reading the description, I decided to see if I could find a copy on eBay as RPG is my favorite game format. This game is a lot of fun, but not overly easy. You need to think about how you are going to accomplish your goals. (Light a fire, catch a fish, etc...) The scenery is well rendered and background sounds really add to the gameplay experience. I like that this game doesn't promote violence.

    Return to Mysterious Island

    This game was well written and easy to navigate. I enjoy solving puzzles and trying to figure out how to make things work. This game had many puzzles to solve, repairs to make, and other combinations of things to solve. The story line was also good and the game ended well. Excellent game,I recommend this game to anyone who likes to find solutions to problems.

    An awesome game, it makes you think.

    I first played this game when I was younger and I literally spent hours trying to beat it. Never did. But I remember I was so pulled into the story line and I always wanted to know what happened in the end. Now that I'm older I can't wait to try and finally beat this game.

    The Game left us wanting for More!

    Return to Mysterious Island has been so far one of the top adventure games my wife and I have played. The puzzles were quite challenging, and the story line had some depth to it. I would challenge any adventure game enthusiast to have a go at this one
