Paul Gascoigne has opened up about some of the pranks he played on his co-stars on the new reality series, Scared of the Dark.
The former professional footballer appears alongside seven other celebrities on the Channel 4 show, as they complete a series of tasks and challenges over eight days, all in complete darkness.
Gascoigne, who is well known for his fun-loving personality, appeared on This Morning to discuss the Danny Dyer-led new reality series, and revealed that he loved causing havoc for his castmates.

"I was fortunate because I was in a group with great celebrities - after a couple of days I came into my own and became Gazza," he told hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes.
"I had some fun. I put breadcrumbs in the beds, started throwing cheese at people, I was pulling their hair and pretending it wasn’t me. It got to the stage where in the last couple of days they wanted to know where I was, as I was normally up to mischief.
He added: "That’s why I’m dreading the premiere as they’re going to know what I’m up to - I stole all the boiled eggs and put them in my dressing gown."

Alongside Gascoigne, on the roster are two former professional boxers Nicola Adams and Chris Eubank, Love Island’s Chloe Burrows, singer Max George, comedian Chris McCausland, Scarlett Moffatt and Donna Preston.
The latter, who has starred in The Sandman, revealed to Moffatt last night (April 18) what inspired her to take part in the show - that she has surgery three times a year to release fluid from her brain due to a rare condition.
She said: "The main reason why I chose to do this because of this condition, because one day I might lose my eyesight."
Scared of the Dark premiered on April 16, with an episode airing each night until April 20 on Channel 4.
