The K-drama (or as what we titas used to call it, Koreanovela), Coffee Prince, made waves in the television industry in 2007, with its kilig-worthy charm. After 13 years, fans still can’t get enough of it, and yes, like you, we've streamed it on Netflix recently, too. Lol. 

After the super exciting news about the Coffee Prince cast’s reunion in an upcoming MBC documentary (they revisited a café from the drama’s scene!), a wave of nostalgia hit you. And we heard you: You want to see what they’re up to now.

Our OG oppa has been the talk of the town for his remarkable roles in the 2016 K-drama, Goblin, and the blockbuster film from the same year, Train to Busan. Aside from these, he also starred in the movies like The Silenced, The Suspect, The Age of Shadows, and Kim Ji Young: Born 1982.

Gong Yoo is also loved for his heart of gold. Last month, he donated 100 million won to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to help those who were affected by the heavy rains and flooding. In February, he did the same to support the coronavirus prevention. Plus cutie points!

A *lot* is planned and scheduled for this in-demand actor this year: He will lead the sci-fi horror thriller, The Sea of Silence with Bae Doona and Lee Joon; make a special appearance in Netflix’s Squid Game, and is in talks to join the all-star film, Wonderland, with Jung Yu Mi, Park Bo Gum, and fellow labelmates, Suzy and Choi Woo Shik.

In a recent video uploaded by his management label, Management SOOP, on YouTube, Gong Yoo had fun talking about fishing, how he shopped for a sunbed online, and asked his fellow actor a question about exercising (which he also seems to be doing a lot these days, after saying “my chest got slightly bigger” LOL).

Trivia time: Did you know that Yoon Eun Hye was a member of the first-gen K-Pop group, Baby V.O.X, before she pursued her career in acting? After becoming a K-Pop idol, she became the lead for Princess Hours, which was followed by Coffee Prince. The baby-faced actress then joined the cast of My Fair Lady, Lie to Me, and Missing You.

Looks familiar? He is that *gwapo* daddy in the award-winning film, Parasite! His superb acting skills was also shown in the 2019 drama War Prosecutors, where he played the role of Lee Sun Woong.
