Review: Burj Al Arab

From the outside, the Burj Al Arab looks like a sailboat crossed with a spaceship. Located on its own small artificial island, you’ll need both a reservation number and your passport to get past the security guards at the bridge. Those lucky enough to make it inside will know that the 590-foot-high skeleton-like atrium is unforgettable, too, as is the colorful, ’90s-inspired interior.
