Netizens voted in large numbers in support of their favourite celebrity, and the results are quite interesting. Ranging from Song Kang to Bae Suzy, here are the most desirable male and female celebrities as per the netizens.

The Love Alarm actor, Song Kang, is leading the charts with a total of 36% votes. Netizens in large numbers believe that the Nevertheless actor is the most desirable South Korean celebrity. With his 6’1 height and lopsided grin, Song Kang is indeed the ladies' favourite man.
Ace footballer, Cho Gue Sung is in the second position with a whopping 27% of votes. The 25-year-old plays as a striker in the Danish Superliga club, Midtjylland. He has represented the South Korean national football team. Cho Gue Sung established himself as the country’s eye candy with his astounding performance in his debut World Cup match and the dual goal strike against Ghana.
The popular ballad, pop and trot singer of South Korea, Lim Young Woong, is ranked third in the list of the most desirable male celebrities. The singer gained immense popularity through his KBBS’ morning show, AM Plaza, where he ultimately became the winner. Lim Young Woong also has his versatility as a singer to credit for his popularity among the netizens.

K-pop boyband, Astro’s lead singer and the True Beauty actor, Cha Eunwoo, has been voted as the fourth most desirable celebrity in South Korea. The actor-singer has often been in the news for expressing his emotions and speaking his mind. This quality of Cha Eunwoo makes him very relatable for his fans, who get to witness their idol’s personal life ever-so-often. The 26-year-old actor is also one of the youngest and richest actors in South Korea.
Yim-Si-wan, popularly known by his stage name Siwan, is in the fifth position with a total of 9% of votes. The singer is a member of the South Korean K-pop boyband, ZE:A, and its five-member subgroup, ZE:A Five. The clear winner of the most desirable female celebrity survey was none other than the King The Land’s actress, Yoona. Yoona has recently soared high with the humongous success of her drama, King The Land, and is subsequently winning every other survey coming her way. The actress got a total of 76% votes, the highest votes any celebrity achieved.
The 2010 Olympic gold medal winner, Kim Yuna, is in the second position of the most desired female celebrity. The figure skater is the nation’s pride for being the first ever South Korean to win a medal at the ISU Junior Grand Prix and has several records to her name. Kim Yuna, at 33, has retired from figure skating, but it seems like she still rules the hearts of the netizens.
