Hello guys, i have a question.
In Vista RTM, Logon Screen background resides in imageres.dll
But, where are in Vista beta 1? I can't find it!
Who known, answer please.

Since Vista Beta 1 is an early build I suggest that it resembles XP/2003 more than Vista RTM so why don't you try logonui.exe which is XP's logon screen resource.

try authui.dll, at least the flag is in there (image\11200). As far as i know the background gradient doesn't even exist as an image.
In case you just want a look-alike to use on Vista/7 let me know, I vectored the background a while ago.

imageres.dll, shell32.dll, authui.dll, winlogon.exe... Look in these files.

Background is painted at runtime, I guess.
