It features an extended layout, with document navigation controls for quick scrolling and full-size arrow keys, which are great for gaming

It’s wireless and rechargeable, with an incredibly long-lasting internal battery that will power your keyboard for about a month or more between charges¹
It pairs automatically with your Mac, so you can get to work right away
And it includes a woven USB-C to Lightning Cable that lets you pair and charge by connecting to a USB-C port on your Mac
¹ Testing conducted by Apple in March and April 2021 using preproduction Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad units, firmware, and software paired with preproduction 24-inch iMac systems with Apple M1 chip.
Testing consisted of full battery discharge while engaging the device on a paired iMac using automated equipment. Battery life depends on device settings, usage, and other factors.

A: AnswerThe Magic Keyboard comes with new Macs but it also works with old Macs, and with iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. It connects over Bluetooth, so you can pair it with anything and everything that supports that standard, but Apple's also made it pair instantly over Lightning with the Mac, making it faster and easier to get started than ever. Phenomenal with a Catch
The Apple Keyboard offers excellent tactility, a well-built design, and a sleek appearance. Its impressive battery life enhances its overall appeal. However, the absence of backlighting, considering the price point, is a notable drawback. Despite this caveat, it does offer Touch ID which in my book makes up for what it lacks.

The best keyboard I’ve ever bought money wellspent
I personally love this keyboard is the best thing I have ever bought. Fingerprint scan works very well. It was kind of difficult to figure out, but I got it all. You really have to do is put your fingerprint in and then press the fingerprint button to lock your computer and then, you’ll be able to put your fingerprint again to scan it to unlock your computer. I love this Best thing I ever bought.
