I’ll be honest, I don’t remember where or when I discovered Casper Spell, but I’ve been a fan of his art and have followed it on Instagram for some time now. His artwork has a “cute and spooky” feel to it and has taken a variety of forms ranging from vintage Halloween, to unique originals and more recently a tattoo flash art-like vibe. Over the last few weeks, Casper has been doing something a bit different with his artwork. He’s begun creating patterns that he then posts to social media for users to download and use as their cell phone wallpaper.
As you can see in the photo below, I opted to download his nighttime bat pattern, but he has posted a total of seven different wallpapers including a neon witch hat pattern, bats, vampire teeth, brains, skeleton kings, and a dead crow. In my particular case, I had to darken the image a bit to make it work as a background and not lose my icons in it, but it still makes a beautiful, spooky background for my cell phone.
