The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Center (BB TNBTS) has closed total tourist access in the Mount Bromo area, East Java to clean up the area.

Head of Administration Section of the TNBTS Center Septi Eka Wardhani said the closure of the Bromo area was carried out twice in the April 2024 period.

"The closure is based on a mutual agreement in a coordination meeting held on March 28, 2024," he said.

He added that the closure of Mount Bromo tourist access from the Probolinggo Regency area was carried out from the Cemorolawang entrance. Meanwhile, from the direction of Pasuruan Regency, access is closed from the Dingklik area.
