TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Indonesian Navy, in this case Marine Corps Soldiers, who are members of the Hawaii 2018 Latma Platoon Exchange Task Force conduct war games in the Boondacker Area, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Monday (6/8/2018).

"In this training, Indonesian Marine Corps soldiers led byTask Force Commander Marine Captain Firmansyah Likur, also followed by soldiers from 3rd Marine Regiment, United States Marine Corps (USMC) which is one of internal implementing elements exercise of Platoon Exchange Hawaii 2018,” said Head of Kormar Marine, Lt Col Ali Sumbogo to TIMES Indonesia, Tuesday (7/8/2018).

During the war training, 3rd Battalion Commander Lt Col Reid carry out the supervision and review in Boondacker Area.

"In this activity, there were some materials that were trained, namely the MOUT (City War) Near Distance Battle (PJD) and Field Health," he explained.

Ali added that the material of this war training is implemented in the field from bilaterral cooperation in defence sector between Indonesia and United States of America (USA), with the aim of improving the quality of military science and professionalism of soldiers. (*)
