Since I Clocked the age of 19, I've found myself in a position of not knowing what I'll be doing with my life. apparently i take steemit as my job, I have been able to see great people on steemit from different countries . It's all pretty exciting and scary, and I've often felt like I know how to do nothing or don't know enough.

How great and fun is to be in your 20s, isn’t it? We are young, happy, and wrinkle-free! As great as these years are, they are also critical for making sure the rest of your life goes as it is supposed to.

Living in your 20s is the right time for taking risks and living life to the fullest.,,I think am right there...

In the meantime, I've decided to take some risks and chances in my life during these scary, and maybe idiotic, years of mine that could actually do some good for my future.

The problem with this path to positive change is that most of us fear taking risks!

We may fear rejection, failure and change. We may fear uncertainty.

We think about taking a risk and our innate fight/flight response kicks in.

On top of that, many of us have a warped relationship with fear, where we think fear is bad, and that we should stay away form it.

But actually fear isn't bad, and neither is risk!

In fact, risk is the very thing that can make us feel alive, and the fear we get with taking risks is just a feeling message to tell us that we're going outside of our familiar comfort zone.

Let me give you one clear example of a risk

A woman watches a man kidnap a child. In order to keep him from getting away from the scene of the crime, the woman jumps in front of the car. By doing this, she risked her life in order to save the child. Taking risks SOMETIMES means doing things that don’t make any “logical” sense.

Taking risks OFTEN means listening to your gut / heart / intuition / Higher Self / Authentic Self … and not your head trash (which will ALWAYS try to take you out of it).

Taking risks ALWAYS means that you will grow as a person.

The point is, one of the things that separates highly successful people (the Naturals) from non-successful people is that the Naturals consistently take calculated risks.

i hope now you've got a clear picture of what i'm talking about.

What would happen if we never took risks in life?

Of course life would become monotonous and boring, Nobody wants a boring life, yet it’s such an easy option to resort to, in order to stay safe and in our comfort zones.

Not taking risks means we fail by default

Although your heart may be racing, and your palms many be sweating, think about what would happen if you didn’t take the chance?

Would you regret the missed opportunity?

We only have this one life, why not stretch yourself to new heights! You never know what could happen… and isn’t that exciting?

Risk stretches us and help us grow.

By taking risks, you give yourself permission to try things out, to learn, to fail, to grow and to explore. You get to test your limits and go beyond what you believed was possible. You can to go after the things in life you really want! Risk gets us out of our comfort zone to do something different. We learn by experience. Risk teaches us more about ourselves and helps us improve. How much more do we learn through the experiences of trying something big and failing? How much do you learn from taking risk and seeing the outcome? These are things you don’t pay tuition for, but only learn by doing.

Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life.

Risk teaches Us many lessons in Life .

You can listen to the advice of others or observe how they live their lives but it is not until you try something for yourself, create your own experience, learn your own lesson that you will truly know. We all can have life knowledge, but it is life lessons that we remember.

The greatest lessons of my life have been learnt through taking risks. These lessons have become part of my life wisdom and continue to guide and inform me each day. I own these lessons, they are mine and I could not have learned them from a book, or through avoiding the risk

Believe it or not, Success won't happen magically, you have to pursue it. .

Highly successful people would be the first to say that success isn’t something that comes to us and that in order to reach success, you have to actively pursue it. Have you ever seen or heard of a person who became successful by doing the same thing over and over?

When Steve Jobs came back to Apple, one of the first things he did was to trim down the product line by almost 70% which would have resulted in losses but the move proved to be beneficial because Apple focused on creating a few great products instead of developing dozens of mediocre ones.

Sometimes By taking risks you get better at knowing what you want

Risks helps you to get clear on what you want out of life.

They make you more consciously aware of what is important to you, what you want and don't want, as part of your planning and decision making process.

I may be a #riskaholic.

At the end of January i quited my job and started being a full time steemian because i could not be able to get time for steemit and yet the salary was too low. i guess quitting my job was the biggest risk ever. With a dream of quality content creator on steemit , but now with the influence of great people and my smart mentors on steemit. the money i get on steemit per month doubles the salary of my previous job.- and that is to change my life for the better, #soFar #Sogood

It was definitely worth the risk.
