Chocolate Hills/Philippines/

Hello steemians!
Here's another beautiful spot of the Philippines, the Chocolate Hills. It is also one of the 7 wonders here in Philippines. I already painted one of them which is the Banaue Rice Terraces. Click the link below:

Chocolate Hills is located in Bohol, Philippines and it's the famous tourist attraction there. We call it Mga Tsokolateng Burol in Filipino. It was called chocolate hills because of its cone-shape form covered with green grasses but turns to brown during dry season. It was like a giant chocolate kisses!

Based on my research, the no.of hills was estimated to be from 1,268 to about 1,776 and 30 to 120 meters in height.

Imagined that! That's a lot of giant chocolates and I'm sure everybody would love to go there including me! I've never been to Bohol but I hope I could go there soon after my studies* .

Anyways, if you wish to go there, as per my friends who visited chocolate hills, there are hotels nearby the spot where you can stay. There are also resorts and other facilities for tourist.

These are the materials I used in painting the Chocolate Hills:
Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush
Pencil

Here's the process:

1st. I painted the first layer using the acrylic paint. The upper part, I used primary cyan for the sky and the lower part I used hooker's green mixed with primary yellow.

2nd. To make the sky looks real I blended it with titanium white. My perspective for this is the farther the darker, the nearer the lighter. After that, I painted the clouds using the round brush in circular motion.

3rd. In between the sky and the green part, I painted it with primary cyan then started painting the small hills with lighter color. After that, I drew an outline of the nearest hills.

4th. After the outline, I used yellow ochre for the hills blended with burnt sienna.

5th. I continued painting the hills and on its peak I put a bit of primary yellow.

6th. Below the hills, I used stippling stroke for the trees. The color I used is hooker's green.

7th. For the trees, I layered it with phthalocyanine emerald, cadmium green hue and primary yellow using again the stippling stroke.
