Lenny Kravitz is opening up about his daughter Zoë roasting him during the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

The rock and roll legend, 59, received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this month, with his 35-year-old daughter honoring him with a speech, along with a few choice words from Denzel Washington.

Appearing on Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lenny commented on Zoë's light-hearted roasts.

“I thought it was quite appropriate,” Lenny said with a smile.

After a clip of the speech was played, host Fallon, 49, laughed, “That’s how you do it,” to which Lenny added, “It was great.”

During Zoë’s speech, the actress mentioned her father’s love for see-through shirts.

“I’ve seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I’ve seen your incredible dedication to your art,” she said before adding, “But mostly, I’ve seen through your shirts.”

“According to my dad, if it doesn’t expose your nipples, it’s not a shirt. And, sure, it used to embarrass me when you’d pick me up from school as a kid. But I’ve gotta say, at this point, I respect it. You really do pull it off,” she added. “Your relationship with the netted shirt is probably your longest one.”

“And it works. You two made each other better, and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It’s a beautiful thing,” Zoë continued.

Lenny shares Zoë with his ex-wife Lisa Bonet, to whom he was married from 1987 to 1993.

Meanwhile, Lenny also raved about the ceremony taking place “right in front of Capitol Records.”

“You got the doorway to Capitol Records and then you got John Lennon, people like that,” he said on Wednesday's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Roy Orbison, Al Schmitt and then I’m on the other side of the doorway right there,” the star continued, honoring the importance of the location.
