Paul Gascoigne revealed he is not a fan of Chris Eubank during a rant about the former boxer on This Morning.

Gascoigne joined Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes for a chat about new reality show Scared of the Dark which he stars in alongside Eubank.

Discussing his time on the show with the former world champion boxer, Gascoigne said: "I’m just used to him. I thought he was born with a dictionary up his backside."

Despite disliking Eubank, Gascoigne did praise vision-impaired comedian Chris McCausland: "He was fantastic, I think if it wasn’t for him I might’ve left straight away… He was incredible."

Scared of the Dark is a new reality show from Channel 4 where eight celebrities eat, sleep and live together all in complete darkness.

The show is hosted by Danny Dyer and the celebrities are Gascoigne, Eubank, McCausland, former Olympic boxer Nicola Adams, Wanted singer Max George, reality star Scarlett Moffatt, comedian Donna Preston and Love Island star Chloe Burrows.

In a press release, Dyer said of the show: “This is possibly one of the most bizarre things I’ve ever done in my career, and I have done a lot of mad things. Throw in a bunch of celebs and make them do things with the lights off – it’s proper good telly. You’re gonna laugh, you’re gonna laugh some more and I promise you’re gonna love it.”

Scared of the Dark starts tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm.
