Sajiva – Karawaci

A hidden gem in Karawaci, Sajiva is just not your regular coffee shop, it also have a beautiful ceramic gallery in the third floor.

Homey ambiance could be felt as soon as you came. The place is not crowded, but there are few people who went in and out. The place is kid friendly too, since there were not a lot of people, they wont bump into people when they play around, and Sajiva also have baby chair.

Though I felt like I’m in Korea, just because there were some Koreans who came here, and they spoke entirely in Korean! 😂

The coffees were typical ones you could find in any coffee shop, and since I’m not a fan of coffee, I don’t really know how they should taste or the difference between one and another. I bought a vanilla latte, and my sister got caramel latte. But I do find they are acceptable for my clueless taste buds. Ah, and there were some “bapak-bapak” who came, I guess if there were “bapak-bapak” in a coffee shop, I think that means Sajiva’s coffee is quite good, haha!

Kuotie (IDR 24.9K) and Mantao (IDR 24.9K)

I do find it interesting that they sell dim sum! I already ate beforehand, but of course I want some snacks, we got ourselves kuotie and mantao. The steamed kuotie were tasty, I think it is filled with chicken and prawns (they gave you a generous amount of sambal too!). And the mantao is also nice tho.

There were lots of power sockets, so if you want to work on your assignment or stuffs, this is a very nice place. And the wifi works well too.

If you want to see their ceramic gallery, just asked the barista, and he would simply show you the way. My sister wanted to buy some, and he nicely explained which of the ceramic plates or mugs that are the good ones.

Ceramic Gallery, prices varied

My sister accidentally kicked a plate that was laying on the floor, and it didn’t broke! He simply stated that the ceramic won’t broke that easily unless you drop it. He also explained that ceramics which are light coloured are made with imported soil, because Indonesian soil could only produced dark colored ceramics.

Anyway, this is a really nice place to come, probably will come again sometime to try their dim sum!
