Abstract
For Pediatric Surgeons called upon to treat children with congenital abnormalities, a thorough understanding of embryology is essential and contributes to the correct diagnosis as well as to the treatment most near to physiological condition. It is impossible to convey the complete embryology in this book, however the basic information on organ development is referred to and emphasis is given to the cardiovascular and gastrointestinal tract.
