So!

Born September 24th, 1986… daughter of a Filipino/Chinese father and a French-American mother… 4th of 6 children… father and mother divorced… idk if you wanna know more about her private life… uh I feel like you probably don’t really need to know cuz it’s not really your business (´・へ・`) sorry

As for her career~

Leah Dizon was born in Las Vegas and is a former import model/race queen who gained a lot of internet attention around 2006. She had her own website where she posted some pictures from her modeling portfolio. After uploading some pictures from a shoot of her in a school uniform, within 2 days she received 2 million hits on her site.

She signed with a Japanese talent agency (I believe she is still signed with Sky Corporation), and made a demo tape of her singing and dancing which she sent to Victor Entertainment. She signed as an artist and started working hard doing TV shows and making photobooks and the like…

She co-hosted Webtama with the Japanese comedic duo, Bananaman, and also model, Miki Kuramoto. The show ran from 2006 to 2007 and was the first TV show that she regularly appeared on. The show helped Leah get started as an artist in Japan. The show would helped promote her debut single “Softly,“ and showed her going to events, etc. There were also VTRs where they would track how Leah’s life as an entertainer was going in Japan, as well as a recurring segment where she would present her most recently learned Japanese word and they would talk about it a bit.

She has also made appearances on Johnny’s Ent. shows, such as Cartoon KAT-TUN, Mucha Buri, Suka J, and Show ha Hey! Say!

In 2007, she had her first hit single - Koi Shiyou (Let’s Be in Love).

During her first few months of living in Japan in 2006, she appeared on many TV news shows and did interviews about how she “suddenly just got famous in Japan through the internet.” People were curious why she chose Japan to pursue her fame, and she said that it was because she really liked Japan.

She said that she liked J-POP before she even started getting famous and had even auditioned to be signed with a Japanese record label previously but was unsuccessful. When she was offered the opportunity to become a star in Japan, she said like it was her second chance; the way that she would be able to make her dream come true. Even though she wasn’t confident in her singing, it had always been her dream to one day make it in Japan so she decided to accept the offer wholeheartedly.

In 2008, she announced that she was getting married to her stylist, Bun, and she gave birth to her baby girl, Mila, on April 24th, 2009. However, Bun and Leah divorced in December 2010 due to irreconcilable differences and the official press statement was released in February 2011. Leah has custody over Mila and they are currently living in America (seemingly Las Vegas).

Understandably, Leah has not been as active as in the past within the entertainment industry. However, she had previously been taking acting lessons in New York City in order to pursue a career in acting. She was in a Japanese film called Kiba in 2011 and she made a few commercials for a cosmetic surgery clinic in 2011 as well.

…And WE GIF IT ALL.

ANYTHING WE GET OUR HANDS ON.

Like any TV appearances we know about and can find links to and stuff.

So that’s it. That’s what we do here.

Anyway hope you enjoy the blog!

**UPDATE 2017: Leah’s most recent stint back in the Japanese entertainment view was with an interview with Playboy Japan, which came out in 2016. In the issue, it stated that Leah is currently back in school in Nevada and pursuing a degree in psychology (I believe). She seems to be doing well : )
