Dragline excavator Shovel 6, Collie

Summary[edit]

Description
English: The historic Dragline excavator Shovel 6, Collie, Western Australia. It is on display next to the Coalfields Highway and the Premier coal mine. The excavator was manufactured by Kobe Steel in 1976 and used at the Mount Whaleback Iron Ore Mine in Newman until 1994. From there, it was transferred to th Collie in 1995 and sent to the Premier coal mine in 1996. The excavator was retired in 2010.
