Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity wants the government to strip down for a transparent leadership.

“Hubad na daan o huwad na daan” was their call at annual Oblation Run on Friday, where members ran with nothing but gold and blue masks on, continuing the tradition they dubbed as the Dance of the Brave.

This year’s crowd turnout was relatively smaller compared to previous years, when the Oblation Run schedule was a few weeks after the second semester’s start. Since the academic calendar shift last year, the annual run’s date is right after the finals week.

But the crowd present were not any less interested. Screams filled the AS lobby with cellphones and tablets raised high and pointed low as the runners streaked by.

The Oblation Run is the first highlight in the university on that day, with the Lantern Parade scheduled for the afternoon followed by an afterparty.
