Progressive Lenses
An improvement to bifocals which can improve wearer’s comfort. This type of lens includes an intermediate portion which smooths the transition from viewing distant objects to viewing near objects, as shown in the diagram below.
TruFocals/Superfocus
With bifocal lenses, there are only 2 focus distances. With progressive lenses, there are 3. Vision for distances in between these pre-set distances is never optimal. To eliminate all inconveniences of bifocals and progressive lenses, a new technology has been developed. In order to focus on objects at varying distances, one simply needs to adjust the slider on the frame. As a result, one can enjoy clear vision at virtually any distance.
